Â
Hi. I’m Colette.
Â
If you’ve landed on this page, you’re probably less interested in credentials and more curious about who I actually am. That matters.
I work with couples around clutter and shared space — but the way I do that is shaped by how I see the world, how I listen, and what I believe actually creates change inside a home.
Â
A life shaped by simplicity, movement, and choice
Â
I grew up on the East Coast — New Hampshire roots, Maine summers — surrounded by rugged landscapes that quietly taught me the value of space, simplicity, and living with less.
In the early ’90s, I landed in Boulder, Colorado and earned a degree in Speech Pathology at the University of Colorado. I didn’t follow that path in the traditional sense. Instead, I followed something more visceral: entrepreneurship, autonomy, and building systems that actually work in real life.
Over time, working inside people’s homes, I began to see how deeply our physical environments shape how we move, decide, and relate — often without us realizing it.
Â
Coming home—to myself
Â
For the past two decades, Boulder has been home again. During that time, I built and ran a professional organizing business and worked inside hundreds of homes — not to judge them, but to witness how environments quietly shape nervous systems, relationships, and daily life.
Alongside that work, I was doing my own internal clearing. I went through a divorce. I untangled patterns of codependency and learned how to be alone — something I once feared deeply — and discovered that solitude could be grounding, joyful, and expansive.
This period reshaped how I understand responsibility, autonomy, and choice — both in relationships and in the spaces we share.
Â
Why I share this
Â
I don’t believe in hiding the human behind the work.
My life has been shaped by letting go, starting over, and choosing differently — again and again. Through that process, I’ve learned that when our homes, relationships, and inner lives are aligned, everything else gets easier to navigate.
If you’re drawn to spaciousness, clarity, honesty, and living intentionally, there’s a good chance we’ll resonate. Not because we’re the same, but because we value many of the same things.
Below are a few glimpses of me over the years. The through-line has always been curiosity, courage, and a commitment to living awake.
