Before we touch a single box, we get honest about what each of you wants from this space. Is one of you hoping for a workshop? A home gym? A hobby space? Discussing hopes and intentions allows you each to see the possibility of this home asset. You will also be creating timelines, and scheduling this project out in a sane and comfortable pace for both of you

🔹 MODULE 3: Assess the Current State
No shame here — just clarity. We’ll look at what’s in your garage, why it’s there, and have the conversation of what you can change, shift, and transform. There will be chats about what really needs to live in this space and how you can maximize it to your benefits.

🔹 MODULE 4: The Purge (without the panic)
You’ll learn how to make decisions confidently. I’ll teach you the difference between “finite” and “infinite” storage — and how to stop holding onto stuff for all the reasons you may be holding on.

🔹 MODULE 5: Space Planning
Now that things are clearer, we’ll measure walls, consider electric outlets, and create a layout that flows (without tripping over tools or bikes).

🔹 MODULE 6: Organize With Intention
We’ll group things that belong together, protect what matters, and yes — finally use bins, hangers, and zones that actually work and support ongoing organization.

🔹 MODULE 7: Post-Project Review
Let’s not skip the lessons learned! What worked? What frustrated you? How can your communication or systems improve next time? This is a wildly beneficial step in creating the ease of home projects for the rest of time. Getting better and better at something can offer you more confidence, trust, and pride in your relationship and your overall sense of well-being.

You’ll learn how to stay on top of things weekly, monthly, and yearly — without turning into a storage-obsessed minimalist.

Do we need to do it together?

Yes—this is built for couples. You can go at your own pace, but collaboration is key. This course will teach you new ways of communicating your needs with an overlay of safety, respect, and commitment to completion. Think of it as a therapy session that's way more active and transformative-in your relationship but also in the space you've just recreated together!

What if my partner is not interested?

This course can help you understand how to be better communicators and live in your home the way you each want to. Express your deep desire to get on the same page and use this course as an incentive to connect deeply with each other. If they still are resistant, I would love to get on a call with you both to dive a bit deeper into their resistance if they are willing.

Do I need any special equipment?

I will be suggesting different remedies to best maximize your storage in the garage, such as shelving and hooks to hold big tools, to get everything off the floor and out of corners. There will be a range of costs to serve your budget best.

What if I have a very small or a very large garage?

This course will benefit garages of any size! The more you can maximize your storage, the better you can serve your bigger goals (parking your car, starting a hobby, creating a workspace, etc.).

When will the course start?

The start date is July 12, 2025, and the course has 8 Modules that ideally get completed each week.

How much time is this going to take us to complete?

There are a lot of variables to be honest. My goal is to have you guys get it done in 8 weeks, perhaps quicker if you turn into weekend warriors (not recommended) and need to blaze through some of the modules.

Obviously it will depend on how large your garage is and how much stuff you have inside it and need to make decsions on. This is where our Marco Polo calls (video app we will be using) will help me understand what your unique situation is all about.
